of the risk retention marketplace. |

The number of PGs operating in the Pulse Point States decreased
to 756 in 2001 - representing almost all the PGs operating in
the nation. Many more PGs are filed to operate in each state
than are domiciled in those states.
The number of RRGs operating in the Pulse Point States decreased
to 69 in 2001. Many more RRGs are filed to operate in each state
than are domiciled in those states.
